Pink gari, 1kg. This is a 1KG pack of Japanese gari — the thinly-sliced pink-tinted pickled young ginger that's the traditional palate cleanser served alongside sushi. Gari's role at the sushi bar is to refresh the palate between fish courses, not to be eaten with each piece of sushi. The natural pink colour comes from young ginger reacting with the pickling vinegar. Sold under the GGFT name.

Use it for Sushi service, served alongside sushi as palate cleanser, Sashimi accompaniment, Japanese rice bowls and chirashi, and Asian fusion plates and presentations.
