Which miso paste should I choose?
For miso soup and most home cooking, start with a white miso such as Marukome or GGFT Miso Shiro. If you want a darker, punchier soup with less work, the Ichibiki Aka Dashi already has dashi mixed in.
Is the 20kg tub worth it for a restaurant?
If miso soup is on your menu every day, the Hikari 20kg tub is the size restaurants reorder. If you're still testing a dish, a 1kg pack is the easier start.
How do I store miso once it's open?
Keep it in the fridge with the lid closed or the surface covered, and always use a clean spoon. Check the pack for its best-before date.
Do you deliver miso to restaurants in the UAE?
Yes. We deliver Monday to Saturday to Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, with clear prices on every pack.
When will my order arrive?
Order before 6am and we'll deliver the same day where available. Delivery in Dubai is free on orders over AED 150. You can also collect from the GGFT warehouse in Dubai Investment Park 2, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm (closed on Sundays and public holidays).
