Japanese ramen chef preparing an authentic bowl of hot ramen in a restaurant kitchen

Our Japanese Restock Has Finally Landed in Dubai

Some restocks are worth the wait. This is one of them.

For months, a run of shipping delays and material shortages out of Japan meant several of our most-requested pantry staples were simply unavailable — no shortcuts, no substitutes, just a wait until the real thing was ready to ship. That wait is over. A fresh shipment has landed in Dubai, and it's already moving fast.

Why the wait?

Authentic Japanese ingredients aren't mass-produced to a generic spec — they're made in small, specific runs by long-established producers, and when raw material supply tightens or freight capacity gets squeezed, there's no fast substitute that keeps the product genuine. We'd rather hold the line on authenticity than rush in a lookalike. So we waited, and we kept our regular customers — and the chefs who depend on us — informed along the way.

What's back in stock

Why it matters to Dubai's kitchens

Chefs across the UAE don't compromise on their Japanese pantry — and we don't blame them. When a restaurant's reputation rests on an authentic bowl of ramen or a properly made piece of nigiri, substitutions aren't an option. That's exactly why demand for this restock has been so high even before it landed: sushi bars, ramen counters, and hotel kitchens across Dubai have been waiting for the real supply chain to catch up, not a compromise.

We're glad to be the ones who can facilitate that — sourcing directly, waiting when we have to, and getting the genuine product onto UAE shelves and into UAE kitchens the moment it's ready.

Stock on several of these lines is limited for this first restock wave. If your kitchen runs on any of the above, now's the time to order.
