Tobiko, 500g. This is a 500G pack of frozen orange-coloured tobiko — the small, crunchy, bright orange flying fish eggs that are a signature sushi topping and a hallmark of modern sushi presentation. Tobiko has a delicate pop-in-mouth texture and mild briny-sweet flavour with a distinctive crunch. Sold under the GGFT name.

A sushi bar uses it for California rolls, the classic outer coating, Sushi rolls, dragon roll, rainbow roll, and creative maki, Nigiri sushi, tobiko gunkan maki (battleship rolls), and Poke bowls and chirashi rice bowls.

Keep it frozen at -18°C. Thaw it in the fridge before you use it. Consume promptly once thawed. Do not freeze it again once it has thawed. Allergens on the pack: Fish (flying fish roe). Origin on the label: China.

Questions We Get Asked

Do you sell tobiko and masago?

Yes. There's tobiko from Daiei (Japan) and GGFT in several colours, and GGFT masago in red and orange, mostly in 500g packs.

Is any of it sashimi grade?

The GGFT Sea Urchin Uni is labelled sashimi grade and ready to eat. For everything else, check the product page and the pack before serving it raw.

Do you have frozen edamame?

Yes, GGFT Peeled Edamame (1kg) and GGFT Edamame in the shell with salt (500g).

Can I make my own gyoza?

Yes. Tokyo Gyoza Wrappers from Japan come 24 to a pack, and Tokyo Wonton Wrappers 30 to a pack.

When will my order arrive?

Order before 6am and we'll deliver the same day where available. Delivery in Dubai is free on orders over AED 150. You can also collect from the GGFT warehouse in Dubai Investment Park 2, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm (closed on Sundays and public holidays).
