Sea Delica Osaki Crab Stick, Japan - 500G

Crab sticks from Sea Delica, the Osaki style, 500g, frozen, product of Japan. They are kanikama, imitation crab made from seasoned fish surimi, with a tender, flaky bite, a mild sweetness, and the usual red-and-white finish. They are pre-cooked. You thaw them and plate them. There is no cook step.

Sushi counters use them in California rolls, maki and hand rolls. Shred them into a seafood salad or a slaw. They also go into a soup, a hot pot, a stir-fry or a seafood pasta, or out cold with a dip. A light tempura fry is on the listing too.
