Hamachi, 2kg. This is a single sashimi-grade hamachi (Japanese yellowtail) fillet, farm-raised in Japan, weighing approximately 2KG. Hamachi is one of the foundational fish of Japanese sushi and sashimi culture — prized for its buttery, fatty texture and clean, mildly sweet flavour. This is sushi-grade product for restaurant and hotel kitchens. Sold under the Onsui name.

A sushi bar uses it for Sashimi platters, the classic preparation, Nigiri sushi, tataki, lightly seared yellowtail, and carpaccio with yuzu and citrus dressing.

Keep it frozen at -18°C. Thaw it in the fridge before you use it. Origin on the label: Japan (farm-raised).

Questions We Get Asked

Do you sell tobiko and masago?

Yes. There's tobiko from Daiei (Japan) and GGFT in several colours, and GGFT masago in red and orange, mostly in 500g packs.

Is any of it sashimi grade?

The GGFT Sea Urchin Uni is labelled sashimi grade and ready to eat. For everything else, check the product page and the pack before serving it raw.

Do you have frozen edamame?

Yes, GGFT Peeled Edamame (1kg) and GGFT Edamame in the shell with salt (500g).

Can I make my own gyoza?

Yes. Tokyo Gyoza Wrappers from Japan come 24 to a pack, and Tokyo Wonton Wrappers 30 to a pack.

When will my order arrive?

Order before 6am and we'll deliver the same day where available. Delivery in Dubai is free on orders over AED 150. You can also collect from the GGFT warehouse in Dubai Investment Park 2, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm (closed on Sundays and public holidays).
