Campagna Mezzi Gomiti #39 Elbow Macaroni, Italy - 500G

Campagna mezzi gomiti no. 39, a 500g box. Italian elbow macaroni, short curved tubes of durum wheat with a hollow that holds sauce. Cafes and homes both use this box for mac and cheese and for a pasta salad.

Bake it in mac and cheese or another baked pasta. Toss it in a pasta salad. Drop it into soup or minestrone. The curve is why the sauce stays on the pasta instead of sliding off a long strand.

500g is a retail box and a small-kitchen box. Store it cool and dry, and reseal the rest. Italy is the origin on the pack. Wheat is the allergen.
